We all have troubles in our lives that we have to face. A lot of times we run instead of truly facing them, but they always have a way of showing their faces in our lives. For photographer Ryan Hunter, this holds true. Ryan’s Return is an amazing novel where Ryan Hunter must learn that not everything is how he thought it was and sometimes leaving home is not always the answer to solving troubles. Ryan returns home to Serenity Springs where he is not welcomed by his brother,father and other members of the town. Ryan was invited by Kara Delaney to the centennial of Serenity Springs. A story that as it unfolds, makes a person realize that the most important things in life aren’t money, fame or traveling but family. You can spend years searching for what’s missing in your life only to realize it was where you left it.
Ryan’s Return is by Barbara Freethy. I downloaded it free from Amazon to my Kindle app. I give this book ten stars.

Judgment of Souls 3: A Kiss at Dawn
This trilogy is a little different than most because the author started with the end. I am now hooked. This week I had the privilege to read Judgment of Souls and A Kiss at Dawn by Margarita Felices. A vampire named Rachel who has been searching for a book to free her family falls in love with a mortal named Daniel. Daniel was left with a house full of artifacts by his uncle. Things are strange about Rachel to Daniels friends who live with him. Rachel has to find a scroll in order to save the coven from this new stranger vampire that no one knows who is. The scroll is located in Daniels house, and it holds the key of how Rachel and Daniel are connected. For a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat make sure you read Judgment of Souls and A Kiss at Dawn. On a ten star scale I give it a 9.9. This book I never found a part boring which is new to me because I normally have to skip passages because parts are boring. This did not happen what so ever. The book is available on Amazon as an EBook for kindle. If you do not have a kindle you can download a kindle app for free from Amazon to your computer or smart phone. Along with novels the author Margarita Felices also has short stories available.
The Vessel
I loved this book, and can not wait for the next one. It really lets a person see that true love can survive through anything, and that sometimes even when you have lost all hope in a situation you might be surprised to find out that the other person involved can help you out even when you least expect it. When Olivia is taken from her parents house while Scott is there, it is a terrible time for both. Not only is Olivia missing but also her parents. As Scott searches desperately for answers to where is love is, Olivia is in a room with another person held captive by who ever is holding her. She does her best to keep both herself and the person held with her alive. The question now is will Scott find is love in time before its too late? Read this amazing book to find out. Author Felicia Tatum does an amazing job. Check out the first book in this series The White Aura.
Chances & Choices
We all have that one aspect of our lives that help us to end up where we should have been a long time ago. For Claire Fitzpatrick it was how things were going with her boyfriend in New York. Claire is offered a position at Choices L.A. She is looking forward to getting back to L.A., and how safe she feels with her best friend, Julian West. Little does Claire know her best friend has fallen in love with her, and he is trying to keep those feelings hidden so they do not complicate their friendship as well as other reasons? As their relationship begins to take off in a new direction this love story is unlike any other. The reader can actually relate a feel like a part of the story. As I was reading this book, I could relate to Claire and Julian. It wasn’t a love story forced together, and the details were actually that of real life. They were actually believable not that of other romance books. So will Claire and Julian overcome all the obstacles of the past as well as those that keep arising as the story unfolds? Read Chances & Choices by Helen Karol to find.
Today Only
Where do I even start with this amazing book? I have never found a book that I could actually feel the emotions that where being described by the author. I found the love shared between Rye Silcox and Jett Conner a true love that people only find once in a life time. They had a long hard rode full of tragedy and laughter. Rye’s daughter Emily seemed to know from the first day she met him. Emily wanted her mother to be happy and she also wanted a father. I love how Derinda Love captures the true meaning of family in this story. It teaches many lessons that people go years without truly figuring out in life until it is too late. The main being we need today only. Make memories that when the day is gone, and the people of today have gone we can look back to see just how happy we were. In those memories we can keep our loved ones alive.
I also loved how she included Nashville, Tennessee in her book and the book conventions there. All I can say is I am now hooked on her books, and I can’t wait to read another book by her.
For The Love of Gracie
An amazing heart breaking story that brings into light an ongoing struggle for many women as it brings awareness to physical and sexual abuse. Gracie finds herself in a relationship that with Hudson that is nothing more really than a relationship based on sex. She has always fallen for the jerk type guys, and she is really hoping things with Hudson will be different. Even though she goes against her best friend Cameron’s advice and stays with Hudson. Gracie hangs out with Cameron and other friends and meets a gentleman named Ashton. Ashton is a sweet, thoughtful guy whom Gracie assumes is gay. Gracie really wants to be in a relationship with Ashton, but her assuming he is gay makes her work harder to make her relationship with Hudson work eventhough its not where she wants to be. Hudson acts out in ways that makes Gracie realize that she doesn’t want to be with him, and she plans to call things off with him. She is afraid to do it alone and has Cameron go with her. Cameron has always been the best friend to Gracie who has came to her rescue when she needed him. Things begin to get a little intense as we witness Gracie go through things that many women go through. It’s heartbreaking to read, but it’s a situation that happens all too often. The question now is will Gracie overcome what has happened to her? Will she be able to find a guy who will treat her right and help her through the situations she is going through?
